Veröffentlichung Erneuerbare Energien in Deutschland 2024(Umweltbundesamt, 2025)Die Arbeitsgruppe Erneuerbare Energien-Statistik (AGEE-Stat) bilanziert im Auftrag des Bundesministeriums für Wirtschaft und Klimaschutz (BMWK) regelmäßig die Nutzung der erneuerbaren Energien in Deutschland. Jährlich erstellt die AGEE-Stat in diesem Rahmen eine erste amtliche Abschätzung zur Entwicklung der erneuerbaren Energien im jeweiligen Vorjahr und veröffentlicht die Erkenntnisse im Hintergrundpapier „Erneuerbare Energien in Deutschland“.Die nun vorliegende Publikation beschreibt die aktuellen Entwicklungen in den Bereichen Strom, Wärme und Verkehr, ergänzt um Zahlen zu den wirtschaftlichen Effekten und der Emissionsvermeidung durch erneuerbare Energien. Die Ergebnisse sind graphisch aufbereitet und stehen im Anhang als Datentabellen zur Verfügung.Veröffentlichung Power-to-Liquids(Umweltbundesamt, 2022)PtL fuels are broadly recognized as an important option to make aviation CO2 neutral, and the industrial production of PtL fuels has moved within reach. The updated version of the background paper reviews the basic principles of PtL production routes and draws a comparison with competing fuel options based on sustainability criteria. In order to produce sustainable PtL fuels in the required quantities, it is necessary to use renewable electricity from solar and wind energy, alongside extensively available renewable carbon sources. Furthermore, economic considerations, the technical suitability of PtL fuels, the influence of synthetic fuels on pollutant emissions and high-altitude climate impact, as well as a potential ramp-up of PtL production capacities are discussed.Veröffentlichung Renewable energies in Germany(German Environment Agency, 2022)On behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Affairs, the Working Group on Renewable Energy Statistics (AGEE-Stat) takes stock of the use of renewable energies and annually prepares an official estimate of the development of renewable energies for the previous year. Umweltbundesamt; Purr, KatjaThe RESCUE project describes in six scenarios possible development paths towards a resource-efficient and greenhouse-gas (GHG) neutral Germany. For this, assumptions related to the roll-out of renewable energy technologies, the level of ambition for reaching GHG-neutrality, the magnitude of materials- and energy-efficiency, and the implementation of sustainable life-styles are varied. Until 2050, GHG-emissions can be reduced by 95 percent to 97 percent compared to 1990-levels. Net zero emissions can be achieved through sustainable agriculture and forestry management. Primary raw materials consumption is reduced by 56 percent to 70 percent (however, an increased demand for certain raw materials (e. g., metals) is also observed).
