This question calls for the derivation of climate resilient future pathways that consider the synergies between adaptation, mitigation and sustainable development action. For 16 selected countries (BRA, KHM, COL, GRD, ETH, IND, IDN, KEN, MLI, MEX, NIC, PAK, PER, PHL, ZAF, VNM) such an undertaking was started and the results are presented in this report. The Synergies report follows a pragmatic approach, which combines theoretical and data driven considerations. Therefore a matrix of more than 40 indicators was developed, which tries to rank countries according to their actual adaptive capacity.310 Seiten13,97 MBonline resourceenghttp://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/climate changevulnerabilitysynergiesclimate change adaptionmitigationtrade offsadaptive capacitysustainable developmentSynergies and Conflicts between Climate Protection and Adaptation Measures in Countries of Different Development LevelsMonographieClimate | Energy
